1. When does the box office open?

The box office opens at 6:00 pm and closes at 9:30 Sunday thru Wednesday, and 10:30 Thursday thru Saturday.

2. What time do you close?

Our Parking lot closes at 9:30 Sunday thru Wednesday, and 10:30 Thursday thru Saturday. As long as you are here by then, you will be able to go thru all three events.

3. How long is the Hayride?

The Hayride is 25 minutes long.

4. Are you open if it rains?

We close the attractions when it rains. Check the website before you come out or call our hotline at 610-459-0647.

5. How long does it take to go thru all attractions?

The Hayride is 25 minutes long, and the Trail and Bates Motel take about 15 minutes each. On a weeknight plan to be here about 90 minutes, Fridays and Saturdays have a longer wait time.

6. What’s the best time to arrive?

The earlier you can get here, the less time you will spend in lines. 6:30 is the best time to arrive.

7. Where is the Bates motel located?

8. Is this suitable for young kids?

You will have to be the judge of whether your child will be too scared or not. Some 8 year olds have a great time while some 38 year olds cry for their mommy. Our policy is that we don’t recommend the Bates Motel for children under 8 years old, but our Haunted Hayride is OK for the kids. We offer an alternative non scary daytime event for children under the age of 12 and adults who are young at heart. The Harvest Hayride is open weekends from 10am to 5 pm and offers lots of fun activities for the younger kids.

9. What should I wear?

You will be coming to a working farm, so dress appropriately. Please wear rugged shoes as you may be walking over rough ground in our Haunted Trail. No sandals or flip flops.

10. Can I pay with a credit card?

Yes, we accept Visa, master Card and Discover.

11. Where do I take my online tickets?

Look for the E-Ticket sign and go to that window. E-Tickets are not accepted at the attractions entrances.

12. Does the Bates Motel have food and drinks?

Yes, we have a full menu including Hot Dogs, Chicken Fingers, Fries, Funnel cakes, hot chocolate, Pepsi products and popcorn. 

13. Should I come if I’m pregnant?

That depends on how you feel, however we do not recommend it if you are close to your due date.

14. Do you offer group rates?

YES! We have special group rates on all our attractions our and even have priority parking for buses. Please email [email protected] or call Anne at 610-656-1005 for more information regarding your group attending the Bates Motel.

15. Where can I get a coupon?

Coupons are available at most Wawa stores, Dunkin Donuts, and many fast food locations. We are also on all 13 Haunts flyers located at Subway, Burger King, Taco Bell and Pretzel Factory locations.

16. What does the VIP include? How about the Super VIP?

VIP passes allow front of the line access to all three events. The Super VIP also gives you preferred access parking, Food and beverage and a free Bates Motel Tee shirt.

17. Do you have group rates?

Answer: YES! We have special group rates for all our attractions and even have priority parking for buses. Groups of 30 or more must register before purchasing tickets. Please email [email protected] or call Anne at 610-656-1005 for more information regarding your group attending the Bates Motel.
